Adaptation rights

Novels, web serials and scripts need a license from the rights holder; platforms remove unlicensed adaptations and pass liability to the uploader. Keep licensed characters, logos and brands out of storyboards and reference art.

Likeness, voice and music

• Generate every character sheet; never use photos of real people as references.
• Use preset or licensed voice samples; no cloning without written consent.
• Use library, generated or Creative-Commons music; never commercial tracks.

Tool terms and labeling

Check the commercial clause of every tier you use (Runway, Luma, HeyGen paid tiers allow commercial use; Pika Free does not). Label uploads as AI-generated where required — TikTok and YouTube have explicit toggles; China's labeling measures require visible and embedded marks, which mainland platforms apply by default.
